Skytech 1420 On/Off Fireplace Remote Control provides wireless control of a gas heating fireplace with the simple click of a button. The remote control transmitter runs on (1) 12V battery, and operates a 2 button ON/OFF system which transmits wirelessly to a 110V AC receiver, which connects to all standard millivolt valves. Limited Lifetime Warranty

SKYTECH II warrants the SKYTECH REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM for a Limited Lifetime of the original owner of this system. This warranty is not transferable to another person it is for the original purchaser of the product. Should any part fail because of defective workmanship or material from the original date of purchase. SKYTECH II will repair or, at SKYTECH II option, replace the defective parts.

Replacement parts will be available at no charge for the first (5) five years of this warranty, and will be available at market cost for the Lifetime of the product to that original owner. If SKYTECH II does not have the parts for an individual model, then a replacement SYSTEM will be provided. At no charge for the first (5) five years and sold at market cost for the Lifetime of that product to the original owner.

The Owner must provide a bill of sale, cancelled check, or payment record should be kept to verify purchase date and establish warranty period. Travel, diagnostic cost, service labor to repair the defective SYSTEM, and freight charges on warranty parts to and from the factory will be the responsibility of the owner. SKYTECH will not be responsible for labor charges and/or damage incurred in installation, repair, replacement, or for incidental or consequential damages. Batteries and any damage caused by them are not covered by them are not covered by this warranty.

This warranty does not cover claims, which do not involve defective workmanship or materials.

Damage to the SYSTEM caused by accident, misuse, abuse, or installation error, whether performed by a contractor, Service Company, or owner, is not covered by this warranty. Modification of the SKYTECH product will void this warranty.

IN NO EVENT SHALL SKYTECH BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL AND CONSEQUENTIAL INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS, ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN WARRANTY. THIS WARRANTY SUPERSEDES ALL OTHER ORAL OR WRITTEN WARRANTIES.

Some States do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental and consequential damages or limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific rights and you may have other rights, which vary from state, province, and nation.

Shipping Policy

  • Shipping Process: Many of our products ship from our warehouse in North Liberty, Iowa, ensuring quick and flexible delivery. Custom-finished items or those shipping directly from manufacturers may require additional processing time.
  • Standard Ground Shipping: Items under 150 pounds typically ship via FedEx, UPS, USPS, or similar carriers to ensure fast processing and delivery. If your order arrives damaged, please take photos and contact us for assistance.
  • Standard Freight Shipping: Items over 150 pounds ship via freight with free curbside delivery and lift gate service. The carrier will contact you to schedule delivery, so please provide a valid phone number at checkout. Upon delivery, inspect the shipment and note any damage on the delivery receipt. Spotix Inc. is not liable for damages not reported at delivery.
  • Shipping Options:
    • $9.95 Flat Rate Shipping: Orders under $99 ship for a flat rate of $9.95 within the contiguous 48 states. Spotix Inc. determines the carrier and service level for these shipments.
    • Free Standard Shipping: Orders over $99 qualify for free standard shipping within the contiguous 48 states. For freight shipments, this includes curbside delivery and lift gate services. Additional fees may apply for hard-to-reach areas.
    • Expedited Shipping Options: Expedited shipping is available for most items. Contact a Sales Representative to confirm availability and pricing.
    • International Shipping: Free shipping does not apply to international orders. We frequently ship to Canada; contact our Sales Representatives for costs. International returns are handled on a case-by-case basis and do not follow our standard return policy.

Return Policy

  • Return Eligibility: Items must be unused, unassembled, and in original (intact) packaging. Returns must be requested within 30 days of delivery and shipped back within 14 days of approval.
  • Non-Returnable Items: Custom or made to order products, used or assembled items, certain brands or items marked as non-returnable in the description are not eligible for return.
  • Manufacturer Defects & Shipping Damage: If your return request is due to a suspected manufacturer defect or shipping damage, we will first attempt to work with you to repair the product. If repair is not possible within reason, we may assist in replacing the item. These situations will follow our shipping policy or the manufacturer's warranty process.
  • Return Process: To start a return, complete our return form for approval. Photos may be required. Once approved, you’ll receive a Return Authorization, return label(s) and instructions. Orders shipped via freight carrier must be returned via freight carrier.
  • Refunds & Shipping: Refunds are processed after inspection. Shipping costs, including both outbound and return, will be deducted from your refund. Spotix reserves the right to charge a restocking fee based on the condition of the returned item. Returns outside the specified process or timeframe may not be eligible for a refund.
