The Skytech Smart Batt II/III provides remote thermostatic control, as well as a timer function, for use of gas heating fireplaces with a simple click of a button. The remote control transmitter features an LCD display and operates on (2) 1.5V AAA batteries and uses 5 buttons (MODE/UP/DOWN/SET/TIMER&TIME) to communicate wirelessly to a receiver that operates on (4) AA batteries. The receiver connects to all standard millivolt valves. Enjoy the ambience of a cozy fire, control the temperature of the room, and use the timer function all without sacrificing the comfort of your seat using this fireplace remote control from Skytech.

need to reset the remote. cannot not find instructions to reset remote. have changed all the batteries

  • There is not a good way to reset the remote, the way to reset the receiver is by pressing the learn button on the receiver for about 15 seconds and then going through the re-learning process.

Will this control replace Heat N Glo RC-Smart Remote control kit?

Answers:

  • Yes it will, so long as your current receiver box has the same spade connectors. Please refer to your fireplace manual for proper wiring instructions.

Question:

Why does the box in the fireplace beep? Finally had to turn to off.

Answers:

  • Typically, this is due to low batteries in the receiver. If you change the batteries and the unit still beeps, please give us a call for more troubleshooting.
